Services We Provide

Basic Obedience

Our basic obedience course runs for 6 weeks and is either a private course with your dog, your family and your trainer or a semi-private course with no more than 4 dogs to a class. Your can be held in your home at any time that is convenient for you, or on any day that's convenient for you at our Holliston training facility.
Your classes will be 45 minutes long once a week. The following skills are taught: heel, holding sit, holding down, come, stay, leave it, say hello and drop it. All skills are practiced under distractions that your dog would normally encounter, such as food on the floor and another dog in your yard.
We will also teach you how to extinguish any negative behaviors that your dog may currently be exhibiting such as jumping, nipping, bolting out doors and vehicles and nuisance barking.
Our trainers are well versed in several different training methods including clicker, leash and collar, and e-collar. They will suggest whatever method will work best for you and your dog taking personalities and your goals into consideration. Will your dog compete, do you want him or her off the leash or do you simply want a dog that's welcome at family gatherings?
Classes are offered on your time schedule whenever you and your best friend are ready. Dogs of all ages are welcome in our program, so please don't think that your dog cannot be trained because he's missed the training "window".
Classes are always tailored to meet your specific needs and the needs of your dog, so if you have any requests or special needs please let us know, we will always accommodate.
Please email or call us at 508-989-5859 with any questions you might have, to schedule a class, speak with a trainer, or for pricing.

We do not take credit cards for payment at this time.

Advanced Obedience Training

Group and private classes are offered for dogs that have completed a basic obedience course. This course includes attention heeling, off-leash commands, and hand signals, and is great for students with an eye toward competition, or those students who wish to take their dog to the "next level."

Group Classes

All group classes are held at our training facility, located in Holliston, MA. Please check our class schedule to see what's offered this month. Our 4 week heeling/basic obedience classes are excellent for dogs that have already been through a basic obedience course, and will include practicing commands under distraction. This class is recommended for "brushing up" 2-3 times a year. We review the basics (heel, sit, down, stay and come) through drills and games and try to add a new command in each course.
We are offering lots of new groups every month, and due to their popularity some are on the list every month, so please visit our class listing page for this month's offerings.

New Puppy Training

This drop-in four week course is held on Saturday mornings in our Holliston location. It is especially for large breed puppies under 4 months and small breed puppies under 6 months, and owners who need a refresher course in what to do with a puppy. Learn about crate training, grooming, emergency first aid, how to give medicine, and how to stop problems like accidents, nipping, jumping, and excessive barking. We will also introduce your puppy to the basic obedience commands and clicker or food training.
Please remember to bring proof of first and second vaccinations to your first class.

Behavior Modification Consultations

Does your dog bark excessively, exhibit aggressive behaviors, fight with other dogs, steal things, chew things that aren't his/hers, jump on people, or drag you down the street? These and other undesirable habits are evaluated, and workable solutions are taught.

Clicker Training

Learn the basics of clicker training. This technique is great for training puppies, attention work, and for working on certain problem behaviors.

Rally-O

Rally-O is America's newest and fastest growing dog sport. Anyone can compete, all it takes is a dog and a leash. The idea is much like the "Simon Says" game from our childhood. The student will walk their on-leash dog to the first sign and do what it says, then go to the next sign, and so on. Participants are scored on performance and time.
The major difference between Rally Obedience and Competition Obedience is that you may talk to your dog as often as you like during Rally without losing points, and beginners are encouraged to participate. Rally is a great way to introduce your dog to competition, or to fine tune your obedience.

Beginner Agility Training

This program is designed to meet the AKC guidelines for beginner competition agility and is an introduction to the sport of dog agility. It is a great "confidence" course for shy dogs, and another way to keep your active dog thinking and working. We have all of the equipment you're looking for, such as hurdles, the teeter totter, dog walk, tunnels, etc.

There are some prerequisites for the agility course:
  1. Dogs to be worked on a flat buckle collar.
  2. No aggressive dogs, bitches in season, overweight dogs, or dogs with aggression issues will be allowed.
  3. All vaccinations must be up to date.
  4. For the safety of your dog, no dogs under 1 year of age will be accepted unless into a "puppy agility" class.
  5. All dogs will have a solid recall. No exceptions.
We do not take credit cards for payment at this time.
